QCrypton is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. QCrypton strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working toward full conformance.

Measures Taken

QCrypton takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements throughout the platform
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
  • ARIA labels: Screen reader-friendly labels are provided for all controls, icons, and interactive elements
  • Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements
  • Focus indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for keyboard navigation
  • Alt text: Meaningful alternative text is provided for images and icons
  • Responsive design: The platform is usable across screen sizes and devices
  • Form labels: All form inputs have associated labels

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

  • Some complex data visualizations in the attack cost estimation tool may not be fully accessible to screen readers. Text alternatives are provided where possible.
  • The quantum noise reachability diagrams use color to convey information. Text labels supplement color coding.
  • Some third-party integrations (Stripe payment forms, SSO provider screens) may have their own accessibility characteristics outside our control.

QCrypton is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
